Noble ☆ Works [EN]

 

This game probably was inspired by The Prince and the Pauper, with Takumi substituting for Akari’s sick younger brother Shuri. I was waiting for YuzuSoft’s next title following Tenshin Ranman, but I don’t feel as excited about this as past titles. But the HD graphics by Kobuichi and Muririn are as pretty as usual. They also brought on Komowata Haruka (Suzukaze, Prister, Yumina) to draw the SDs. Chibi Hinata is so cute, especially in the OP! She’s probably also a source of comfort for Takumi since she’s more like a commoner than the rest of the girls. Shizuru looks great with her beret too. This whole high society thing isn’t really for me; I can only take so much classiness.

 

Ah a Classy Cranberries that may be worth reading. Plot sure is simple, but even though it is not exactly believable I think it is better than trying to be too elaborate and ending up with an absurdly silly story. I will have to agree with Micchi that it doesn’t feel as entertaining as past titles, but for a different reason, I get the feeling they missed the atmosphere of their setting completely. Most of the game looks rather like any normal game, the characters don’t give off that prestigious vibe instead providing examples of your standard heroines found in high schools everywhere.
